Masters (all over 30 years)

The scope and diversity of North Burleigh extends to the Masters competitors. These members (all over 30 years) are an invaluable asset to the club, helping in Nipper coaching, helping in water safety at Carnivals, as well as competing in Masters events, R & R and Reel Teams in the Senior ranks. The Masters are a credit to the club and their Honour Board is already packed with results since its beginnings in 1991.

IRB Competition

One of the significant achievements at North Burleigh is the success of its IRB Team. Since IRB Competition began in 1985, North Burleigh has been the most prolific winner of any club nationally. The 2008/2009 Season, under the direction of acclaimed coach, Andy Kelckhoven, saw the IRB team finish second at the Australian titles after winning the event for the previous 6 years. The 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons were a complete domination by the North Burleigh team.  The team was able to complete the trifecta of taking out the Qld Ocean Roar Series Premiership, Qld State IRB Championships and the Australian IRB Championships.  The team also contributed a number of members to the Queensland Cyclones team which also defended the crown as best IRB State team in the country.  The team also supply water safety for Nipper Carnivals, Senior Carnivals, Boat Carnivals, and the Australian Still Water Rowing Championships.
